Last day is 2/28/15.

Well friends, you haven't seen much in the way of posts from me lately. I've been in a bit of mourning. I have been waiting to hear of some very important news that effects my shop. Shabby Nest Antiques will be CLOSING due to the owner's decision to sell the land my store resides on.

I entertained the idea of relocating, but that is just not a cost effective option for me. I want to THANK everyone of you for supporting this wonderful place and for allowing me to do what I so enjoy. Shop will remain OPEN through February and close 2/28/15.

Vintage Ballet Slipper......

I recently volunteered to decorate this vintage ballet slipper for a dear customer. Her daughter is a dancer. I really enjoyed this creative process. I hope she likes it. Just one of these pretty shoes had found it's way into my world and I have offen wondered who wore it and what may have become of it's mate.
